What is a car documentation folder?+
A car documentation folder (also called a vehicle document wallet, car document holder or log book folder) is a bound case that keeps a vehicle's paperwork — registration, log book, MOT certificates, service history, receipts and provenance — organised and protected in one place. A Motor Folio elevates this into a handcrafted leather portfolio, personalised to the vehicle and to your brand.
Can the folders be branded with our identity?+
Yes. Every folio is fully bespoke. We colour-match to your corporate palette, apply your logo or marque emblem via metal press debossing (gold, silver or blind deboss), CNC-engrave plaques, and laser-print full-colour artwork inside and out. The folio becomes a seamless extension of your visual identity.
Where are Motor Folios made?+
Every folio is made entirely by hand in the United Kingdom, at our purpose-built 8,000 sq ft facility in Hampshire, England. We have been handcrafting automotive documentation storage since 1996.
What is the minimum order for trade partners?+
Whether you require a dozen folios to complement a specialist restoration or a full branded range for your entire sales team, we will craft something worthy of the vehicles — and the clients — you serve. Samples, specifications and trade pricing are available on request.
What materials and finishes are available?+
Options include full-grain leather and Vivella book cloth, with bespoke colour matching, suede-effect linings, nickel corners, and engraved bright-aluminium plates. Finishes cover metal press debossing, CNC engraving and high-resolution laser printing.
What is included inside each folio?+
Each folio contains 12 record sheets covering vehicle specification, service history, restoration and technical data, housed in PVC sleeves alongside heavy-duty wallets for log books, MOT certificates and receipts. A 32MB branded USB is included with editable sheet copies for reprinting. Our in-house Editorial Team can also produce bespoke narrative pages on request.
